Billy's formal education was focused in the areas of math and physics. His spiritual training began in 1969 when he met Meher Baba, the Avatar from India. This Spiritual Master anchored the "awaking foundation" in his heart for his life’s work, "Facilitating Spiritual Healing." This sacred time with Baba awoke him to the "Kingdom of Heaven" within. This encounter launched his conscious spiritual life. It also accelerated his gift of seeing in Spirit. A successful businessman with Jaguars, Lincolns, and beachfront property in the Bahamas, he gave away most of his possessions and commenced traveling the world seeking to quench an insatiable thirst for spirit, after his amazing encounter with Meher Baba. In 1973, after studying with a Hindu Saint, a Zen master, and an American Indian mystic, he met Dr. Neva Dell Hunter the founder of Quimby Center where he experienced a miraculous healing from a terminal disease through his first "Aura Balancing." From the inner planes, Dr. Hunter originally brought forth the spiritual concept of Aura Balancing as an alternative to conventional psychology. Moving to Southern New Mexico to build and operate a home for abused children, he spent over 15 years working with Dr. Hunter and Elle Vivian Power who eventually became his spiritual mentor, and learning the spiritual aspects of this amazing healing technique. In 1977, Billy met John Roger, the founder and spiritual Director of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness where he was eventually ordained and initiated into the sound current. This course of study continues today. His private counseling practice started with the opening of the children’s home in 1977. Today, Billy's practice is with individuals, couples and children, with a spiritual, rather than a strictly psychological focus.
